Wedding Announcement

   Crystal L. Alsup of Harlingen & Frank J. Carrales of Harlingen along with their children, Tristan C. Alsup-Cavazos & Hondo J. Carrales joined their families through marriage on Saturday the 18th of December 2010 at the Pelican Station in Port Isabel overlooking the bay in a sunset ceremony. Pastor David Boughter officiated the couple’s double ring ceremony, children’s necklace presentation, & the family’s Christian sand ceremony.

    The bride is the daughter of Daphna Hargrove-Alsup of Harlingen, & the late Kenneth A. Alsup of Harlingen. The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Frank Carrales of Harlingen.

    The bride was given away by her brother-in-law, William "Bill" Gautreau. Maid of Honor was Jade Gautreau, niece of the bride. Brandon Blair, friend of groom, was Best Man. Ring Bearer was Tristan Alsup-Cavazos, & Necklace Bearer was Hondo Carrales. Grace Blair, flower girl, was escorted by her brother, Cole Blair.

    The bride is a graduate of the University of Texas-Edinburg where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree, & is the owner of Alsup Insurance Agency. The groom attended the University of Texas-Edinburg, & is currently employed by Rhyner Construction.

    The reception followed the couple’s ceremony where a seafood dinner was served, followed by champagne toasts, & cutting of the bride’s three tiered buttercream cake & the groom’s chocolate truffle cake.

    After the wedding, the newlyweds enjoyed the weekend on the Island. They will honeymoon on a Caribbean cruise on February 14th.

    The family resides in Harlingen, Texas.
