Wedding Announcement

Miss Brittany Leigh Swanberg and Mr. William Tomas Bryan Cornelius were united in matrimony in an outdoor sunset ceremony on Friday, April 25th, 2008, at the Inn at Chachalaca Bend in Los Fresnos, Texas. The double ring ceremony was officiated by The Most Reverend John D. Stewart, and was followed by a buffet reception and dance.

The groom was served by Mr. Jonathan Montoya of Granbury as best man. Mrs. Steven Kocurek (nee Amanda Thompson), of Robstown (formerly of Mission), served the bride as Matron of Honor.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lance Swanberg, of Raymondville, and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Swanberg of Harlingen, Mrs. LaVelle Henderson, of Raymondville, formerly of Alamo and Edinburg, and the late Mr. James Henderson.

Mr. and Mrs. William David "Dub" Cornelius, of Cresson, TX are the parents of the groom and Mr. and Mrs. John "Whiz" Miles, also of Cresson, his grandparents.

The bride is a graduate of Lyford High School, and of Texas A&M University, with a degree in Animal Science, and is employed by Alcon Laboratories. The groom graduated from Granbury High School and from Texas A&M University with a degree in Geology and is employed as Assistant District Manager of Epoch Well Services. After a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple will reside in their new home in Fort Worth, Texas.
