RIO HONDO, TX. — Pilar D. Atkinson

Passed away Nov. 8, 2009 and is now greeted by the loving arms of the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her parents Emilio and Guadalupe G. Duenez, husband Carlos Atkinson, daughter Cecilia Atkinson, sister Ascencion Trevino, brothers Ernesto, Albert, Francisco, Federico Gonzales, and Antonio Duenez.

She is survived by her sisters Herminia D. Phipps of Rio Hondo, TX, Senaida (Richard) Powers of Livingston, TX, and brother Martiriano (Gudelia) Gonzales of San Benito, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday Nov. 9, 2009 from 3PM to 9PM with a 7PM prayer service at San Benito Funeral Home Chapel. Gravesite Funeral Service will be today, Tuesday Nov. 10, 2009 at 10AM at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
