Harlingen, TX. - Jose A. Balderas, Sr.
80, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 23, 2008, at Valley Baptist Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in McAllen, Texas and a graduate of McAllen High School where he met his wife of 50 years. He was a salesman for Welden's Jewelry of Harlingen, Texas for 40 years, and was a very active member in the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was a very generous and kind person. He will be greatly missed by his family.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Lucero Balderas, and his parents, Anacleto and Mercedes V. Balderas.
He is survived by his children, Jose Balderas, Jr. and Ruth Reyes (Tommy West). He is also survived by his brother, Rogelio Balderas, and his sister, Gloria Fuentes.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 26, 2008 from 10 AM to 9 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel.
Chapel service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 10 AM with funeral services to follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in La Feria, Texas.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria Del Angel, Cemeteries, Mausoleums and a Dignity Memorial Provider, 2906 S. Expressway 77/83 Harlingen, Texas 78550.
