EDCOUCH— Funeral mass for Manuel S. Escobar, 3pm, St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch with interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park under the direction of Hawkins Funeral Home of Weslaco.

HARLINGEN— Memorial services for Richard “Dick” Smith, 2pm, First Christian Church in Harlingen under the direction of Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
