NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Cameron County Housing Authority is soliciting sealed bids for the sale of La Hacienda Apartments located at 3567 W. Business Highway 83, Harlingen, Texas.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: The legal description is provided in the Bid Package available upon request.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: An irregular shaped lot being approximately 6.969 acres in size, located at 3567 W. Business Highway 83 in Harlingen, Texas. This lot is improved with multifamily residential buildings, a caliche paved drive access to each building and an asphalt paved parking area along the frontage and minimal landscaping.

The subject property is zoned as M 2 multi-family and subject to any restrictions or ordinances of the city of Harlingen.

UTILITIES: Utility services such as water, sewer, and waste collection are provided by the city of Harlingen, Texas.

PROPERTY SOLD "AS IS": The Property and any improvements thereon are to be sold "AS IS". The successful bidder represents that as of closing date, the successful bidder has fully inspected the property and shall have made all investigations it deems necessary or appropriate, and will be relying solely on its inspection and investigation of the Property for all purposes whatsoever.

MINIMUM BID: The minimum bid amount is $500,000.

All bids must be sealed in envelope, addressed as indicated above and clearly marked in the lower left hand corner: "La Hacienda Bid". The Cameron County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of Cameron County Housing Authority.
