HARLINGEN, TX.—Guillermo 'Memo' Candanoza

He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Juana Candanoza.

Surviving him is his wife Gloria Candanoza of Harlingen, four children, Hilda Herrera (Miguel), Michelle Candanoza (Fausto), Victoria Murillo (Jose), Guillermo Candanoza, Jr. (Jeanie), and 13 grandchildren. Also surviving him are four brothers Manuel Candanoza (Dianna), Moises Candanoza (Rosa), Armando Candanoza (Dulia), Eliazar Candanoza (Cynthia), two sisters, Maricela Azua, Nora Galvan and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, February 10, 2010 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at the Rudy Garza Chapel in Harlingen. The funeral will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2010 departing the funeral home at 1:30 pm for a 2:00 pm Funeral Service at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Harlingen. Interment will follow at Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery in Harlingen.

Pallbearers will be Guillermo Candanoza, Jr, Manuel Candanoza, Armando Candanoza, Eliazar Candanoza, Moises Candanoza and Rogelio Saldana.

Honorary pallbearers will be Eduardo Candanoza and Ruben Reyes.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home in Harlingen.
