LA FERIA, TX. - Raul Cantu

66, of La Feria, passed away on Tuesday, June 18,2008 in Harlingen, Texas.

He is survived by his loving wife: Irma Rubio Cantu of La Feria, two daughters: Christina (Red) Marquez of Mercedes, Carmen (Edwin) Lipscome of Denton, Two sons: Raul (Terry) Cantu Jr., of California, Israel Cantu of La Feria, 6 grandchildren: Christopher David, Sheila, Rebecca, Mallory, Daniel and Jacob Cantu, 4 great-grandchildren: Shanelle Martinez, Carson Salazar, David and Desiree Cantu, 1 sister: Herlinda Cantu of Bay City, 5 brothers: Rodolfo Cantu of Arkansas, Jorge Cantu of Weslaco, Reymundo Cantu of Alvin, Eliseo Cantu of Mercedes and Jesus Mesa of Houston.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Jorge and Esmeralda Cantu and grandson, Jonathon Cantu.

Visitation will be today, Friday, June 20, 2008 at Rudy Garza Chapel of Palms in La Feria from 9:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00p.m. tonight.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 21, 2008. We will depart Chapel of Palms at 9:30a.m. for a 10:00a.m. Mass to be held at St. Francis Xavier's Catholic Church. Interment will then follow at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria.

Mr. Cantu was a Loving and Dedicated Son, brother, Husband, Father, Grand-father & Great-grandfather. He is a will forever be Loved and Missed by all those who him.
