Los Lonely Boys kick off RGV Harley-Davidson re-opening
The new owners of Rio Grande Valley Harley-Davidson McAllen and Roadrunner Harley-Davidson in San Benito are celebrating a grand re-opening this weekend at both locations.
The Grammy Award-winning Los Lonely Boys will be performing Friday at the McAllen location. Tickets aren’t being sold for this concert — you have to make a purchase of $25 or more at either Harley-Davidson location to attend the concert. (Receipts dated Nov. 11 through Nov. 20 will be accepted.)
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, at the McAllen location, followed by the annual Harley-Davidson Motorclothes Holiday Fashion show at 11 a.m. At noon, owners Gene Shipley and Bobby Garcia will take off on a ride to the San Benito location, and anyone who wants to ride down is welcome.
At the south store another ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 1 p.m., and then another fashion show.
Also featured during the grand re-opening is artist Scott Jacobs, who is officially licensed by Harley-Davidson. There will be a meet and greet and Jacobs’ Harley-Davidson-inspired art work will be on display and for sale at the McAllen store.
