HARLINGEN, TX. — Jesus H. Contreras

73, entered into eternal rest on November 29, 2009. He was born on April 13, 1936 to Calletano and Francisca Contreras in Cotulla, Texas.

Jesus is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Oralia A. Contreras of Harlingen, 5 children; Belinda (Rick) Bruzek, Jesse Contreras, Jr., Elvira (Anthony) Rodriguez all of Romeoville, IL, Rachel Contreras of Harlingen and Alexandro Contreras of Romeoville, IL, 6 grandchildren; Renee, Nicole, Carissa, Selina, Tiara and Joel, 2 great-grandchildren; Tyler and Jordan.

Visitation will begin today, Dec. 3, 2009 at the Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace from 10 am until 9 pm with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7 pm.

There will be a funeral chapel service on Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at 10 am with Deacon Juan Limon officiating; the funeral procession will depart immediately following. Interment will then follow at Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve, as pallbearers are family members.
