HARLINGEN,TX.—Beatriz Davila Basaldua

She was born on July 29, 1931 to Pedro and Apolonia Davila in Pawnee, Texas and is preceded in death by her parents, a son; Saul Basaldua, brothers; Vicente Davila, Ernesto Davila, Domingo Davila and Jose Davila, and a sister; Gregoria Vela.
Left behind to cherish her loving memories is her loving husband; Geronimo Basaldua of Harlingen, daughter; Julie B. (Albert) Barrientos and son; Geronimo “Jerry” Basaldua, Jr. both of Harlingen, sister; Lucia Salamon and 2 brothers; Leonardo D. Davila and Joaquin Davila all of Corpus Christi, 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin today, Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009 from 9 am until 9 pm at the Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7pm
The funeral procession will depart on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009 at 9:30 am for a funeral service at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church to begin at 10 am. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are; Albert Barrientos, Isaac Barrientos, Jerry Basaldua, Jr., Saul Basaldua, Joaquin Davila and George del Valle.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Harlingen.
