David-Sharon Newell

50th Wedding Anniversary

October 24, 1959 the former Sharon Wilson became the

bride of David Newell. Both are graduates of Rio Hondo High

School and were married in First Baptist Church in Rio Hondo.

They celebrated with immediate family members on Lake Quachita, Arkansas.

This houseboat adventure included kayaking, fishing, hiking, water sports and beautiful sunsets. Attending were; Sherry & Richard Wiesman, children Nicolette & Victoria, Frontis & Beth Newell, children Georgia & Levi, Susanne Witten and son Reagan.

The couple are retired John Deere dealers and reside in Harlingen.
