70th Wedding Anniversary

   Mr. and Mrs. Eddie and Arvie Caughfield of Combes, Texas celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary on August 18, 2010.  The couple were married on August 18, 1940 at the First Baptist Church in Harlingen, Texas.

   They are the proud parents of Roy Caughfield of Merritt Island, Florida, Kathy Back of Lafayette, Louisiana and the late Arvie Jeanne Kuehn.  They have five grandchildren, Martin Back of Denton, Texas, Becky Kuehn of Quincy, Massachusetts, Andy Caughfield of Merritt Island, Florida, Karen Overman of Houston, Texas and Christy Janitch of Green Bay, Wisconsin and seven great- grandchildren, Micah, Matthew, Lydia and Lauren Overman of Houston, Texas and Luke, Gabe, and Hunter Janitch of Green Bay Wisconsin.
