HARLINGEN, TX.—Leonor Palomarez

She was born on April 11, 1921 in Monterrey, Mexico to Aurelio & Pabla Sanchez Palomarez. Leonor was a lifetime resident of Harlingen and was employed by Retama Manor for 20 years.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Palomarez.
Leonor is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Cynthia (Jimmy) Blanco; 4 grandchildren, Erica, Elizabeth, Pat, & Jimmy Blanco; 6 great grandchildren, Dominique & McKayla Mares; Riley & Topi Elizondo; Alberto Pedraza, Jr.; and Demitre Blanco.
She is also survived by her sister, Carmen (Hector) Flores; brothers, Jesus Palomarez; Nico (Flora) Palomarez; Beto (Hope) Palomarez; Joe Palomarez; and Amado Palomarez; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held today, October 28, 2009 from 1 P.M. to 9 P.M. with a rosary to be recited at 7 P.M. at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 29, 2009 at 10 A.M. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Interment will follow to Heavenly Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Jimmy Blanco, Jr., Jimmy Blanco, Sr., Amado Palomarez, Alfredo Elizondo, Dominique Mares, and Demitre Blanco.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home 1002 East Harrison Harlingen, Texas 78550.
