Mrs. Evangelina G. Ramirez, 101 years old, passed away Wednesday September 12, 2007 to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family. Born May 10, 1906 to Justo & Ignacia Guardiola in San Carlos, Mexico

She was a lifetime resident of San Benito and member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Ramirez; her parents, Justo & Ignacia Guardiola; 2 sisters Lucia Maldonado, Zoila Sosa, and brother, Guadalupe Guardiola.

Survived by her children Maria Luisa Nieto, +(Ignacio), Evangelina ”Tacha” Urbina (Marcelino), Leonardo Ramirez (Manuel C.), Francisco Ramirez, Jr. (Elidia), Odelia Cortez (Cruz Cortez+), Ernestina Meza (Lucio), Reynaldo Ramirez (Carol), & Maria Elena Sanchez.

Also, her brother Ignacio Guardiola (Elena S.), 44 Grandchildren, 106 Great-Grandchildren, and 17 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be 12Noon to 9pm today Friday September 14, 2007 with a Holy Rosary Service at 7pm at San Benito Funeral Home Chapel A

Funeral Services will be 1pm Saturday September 15, 2007 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church with interment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park, San Benito

Honored to be pallbearers are Marcelino Urbina,Jr., Lucio Meza, Jr., Uvaldo Ortega,Jr., Daniel Nieto, Pedro Maldonado, Jr. Ruben Pena, Adrian Ramirez, Luis Ramirez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Leandro Ramirez and Ernie Ramirez.
