Miss HollyAnne Frances Farris and Mr. Daniel Edwards Jenkins, IV were united in marriage  on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at seven in the evening at First United Methodist Church in Harlingen, Texas. Senior Pastor David. E. Payne officiated the candlelight double ring ceremony. Music was provided by Mrs. Merrillee Elliff, vocalist, Ms. Sandra Thormahlen, organist, Mr. James Keltner, trumpeter, and the Silken Strings Quartet. Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at The Reese with entertainment provided by Mariachi Imperial and The Sauce Band from Austin, Texas. On the eve of the wedding the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Raimond Farris of Harlingen, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. James Bernard Ewbank and the late Carolyn McLean Ewbank of Tyler, Texas and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gene Farris of Harlingen, Texas. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Edwards Jenkins, III of Houston, Texas and the grandson of the late Mrs. Anne Beauregard Wallingford and Mrs. Dora Solis Jenkins and the late Dr. Daniel Edwards Jenkins, Jr. all of Houston, Texas.

Presented in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride selected a satin strapless gown designed by Priscilla of Boston. The trumpet fit gown was detailed with an ivory satin belt adorned with Swarovski crystals and pearls that tied in a bow to accentuate the bride’s waist. To compliment her gown she wore an ivory illusion cathedral length veil and carried a European hand-tied bouquet. For late night dancing and departure, HollyAnne wore a custom designed cocktail length dress made of white bridal satin and adorned with a vintage bridal belt.

HollyAnne is a graduate of Harlingen High School South and Texas A&M University, College Station. She is finishing her Masters from the University of St. Thomas.  HollyAnne is a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and currently employed as a kindergarten teacher with the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Daniel is a graduate of the Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas.  He went on to receive his B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Daniel is currently employed as the Manager of Financial Planning and Development at Goodrich Petroleum Corporation. Following a two week honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple resides in Houston, Texas with their schnoodle, Spencer.
