HARLINGEN, TX. — Sarah Louise (Finklestein) Lovelace
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Beloved mother and grandmother died August 30, 2008 at the Sunshine Haven Hospice in Olmito, Texas. She would have been 84 this month.
Louise was born September 28, 1924 in San Antonio, but lived most of her life in Brownsville and Harlingen, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents Moses and Julia (Kane) Finklestein, and brother, Robert "Bob' Finklestein.
Louise graduated from Brownsville High School and later became a legal secretary. She worked for Rentfro & Rentfro and Sams Foundation in Brownsville, and the Adams & Graham law firm in Harlingen until she retired in 1988. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Parish in Harlingen.
She is survived by her son, James C. Lovelace of San Antonio, TX and daughter Elaine Clifford of Harliingen. Five grandchildren also survive her including Robert J., Michael D., and Steven C. Lovelace of San Antonio, TX; Shelley Ann (Beakley) Guerrero of McAllen, TX, and Ronald J Beakley of Harlingen. Her five great grandchildren are Lindsey S., Jake R., Laine M Andreatos; Charlie S. Guerrero of McAllen and Zachary P. Beakley of Harlingen. Her two step-grandchildren are Jorge and Magali Fernandez of Harlingen.
The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rudy Garza including a memorial service to be held Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 2pm at the Rudy Garza Chapel.
