RIO HONDO, TX.— Jesusa “Chucha” Flores
59, of Rio Hondo passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2009.
She was born November 14, 1949 to Bonifacio and Maria Flores Farardo in Rio Hondo, Texas.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years: Jose H. Flores, Mother: Maria Flores, 2 daughters: Rosa Isela, Laura (Javier), Sons: Juan Gabriel Flores, Antonio (Shannon) Flores, Jose Flores Jr. and Eric Flores. She is also survived by nine grandkids; Mario, Ashley, Adrianna, Michael, Sarahi, Brandon, Maria, Lillian, and Katie.
She was a loving person who always helped others before helping herself. She was always available to listen and give advice when needed.
Jesusa enjoyed Bar-B-Queing, traveling to San Antonio, going to the movies, gardening and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be today, Sunday, October 18, 2009 1:00 PM to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 19, 2009. We will depart Rudy Garza Funeral Home at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at St. Helen’s Catholic Church in Rio Hondo, Texas.
Interment will then follow at Las Yescas Cemetery.
Pallbearers are: Javier Trevino, Mario Maldonado Jr., Michael Flores, Eric Rosa, Antonio Flores & Robert Barrientes.
