Third of seven children to Winnie Vaughn and S. A. Decker was born January 9, 1924 in Harlingen.

On December 2, 2008 at 84 years old, she went to be with Jesus following her husband of over 60 years, Charles C. Fox, her great-granddaughter, Baby Bear, as well as many other loved ones.

She is in heaven waiting for us: Children, Charles (Patsy) Fox, James (Gail) Fox and Linda (Allen) Chase; Grandchildren, Camille, Jon, Amy, Stacie, Sherrie, Jamie, Christy, Erin and five great-grandchildren. Lois is a woman of simplicity who loved and blessed all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Harlingen- Combes Ceme-tery in Combes, Texas with Pastor Justin Farr officiating. The family wishes that any donations be made to "Baby Bear's Blankets". Contact BabyBearsBlankets@sbcglobal.net
