SAN BENITO, TX. — Juan Garcia
Comments 0 | Recommend 076, beloved husband and father went to be with the Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Harlingen Medical Center. He was born on June 24, 1932 to Tomas and Adelaida Garcia in Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his parent; his brothers, Tomas Garcia and Francisco Garcia.
Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife of 52 years, Leonarda "Lile" Garcia of San Benito; his 7 children, Juan Antonio (Rosie) Garcia, Sr., of San Benito, Dionicio Garcia of Weslaco, Lupe (Alicia) Garcia, Sr., Dolores (Manuel) Trevino, Adelaida Garcia, Maria Teresa (Marcos) Sandoval and Jesus (Cristina) Garcia, Sr., all of San Benito; 14 grandchildren, Laura (Higinio) Abrego, Jennifer Garcia, Juan Antonio Garcia, Jr., Andrew Garcia, Lupe Garcia, Jr., (Tracy), JoAnna (Jeremiah) Salazar, Eric Garcia, Harley Devin Garcia, Arthur Dean Garcia, Marco Antonio Sandoval, Matthew Sandoval, Paul Garcia, Bianca Garcia and Jesus Garcia, Jr., 2 great grandchildren, Ian Alexander Abrego and Jeremiah Savian Salazar; 2 brothers, Santos (Aurora) Garcia and Alfredo (Raquel) Garcia of Houston, TX; 2 sisters, Blasa (Julian) Rangel of Houston, TX and Guadalupe Garcia (Gasper) of Reynosa, Mexico, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Honored to be pallbearers will be Lupe Garcia, Sr., Lupe Garcia, Jr., Dionicio Garcia, Jesus Garcia, Sr., Marcos Sandoval and Manuel Trevino.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary to be recited from 7:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Directors.
Mass of Resurrection will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Committal Service will follow to El Naranjo Cemetery located in El Ranchito.
