Wedding Announcement
Lindsey Rose Glass and Ryan Banning Kinkade were united in marriage on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at a small destination wedding held at The Tides - Zihuatanejo, Mexico. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Mr. Rex N. Leach and a reception immediately followed at the beachfront restaurant - Marea at The Tides.
The bride is the daughter of George H. and Valorie Glass of McAllen. The paternal grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Mary Ellen Glass and the late George Hodges Glass of Bellaire, Texas. The grandfather of the bride is Walter J. Canney of La Vernia, Texas.
The groom is the son of Linda Faubion and the late Stephen Allen Kinkade of Weatherford, Texas.
Lindsey was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore a strapless gown of silk organza, with cascading layers of silk organza and silk roses.
Serving as the bride’s Maid of Honor was her sister, Allison Glass of Austin. Her bridesmaids included Vanessa Martinez and Melba Flores of Austin, and Lisa Southerland and Delilah Farias of McAllen.
Serving as the groom’s best man was Eric Curran of McAllen. Groomsmen included J. P. Fedigan of South Padre Island, Danny Rapaport of Los Angeles, Johnny Rodriguez of McAllen and Homer Sanchez of Austin. Ushers were Nicholas Mueller of Austin and Wes Lloyd of Fort Worth.
The flower girl was Nina Flanagan of Houston and the ring bearer was George Mueller of Austin.
The photographer, a close friend of the groom, was Michael Amici of San Francisco and San Miguel de Allende.
The bride is a graduate of McAllen Memorial High School and attended Texas A&M and UTPA. She is currently working in the service industry and preparing to attend the culinary institute in Austin.
The groom is a graduate of St. Augustine High School and St. Edwards University in Austin. He is currently managing the south Texas operations of Austin-based Native Land Design.
The couple love to travel and following the wedding weekend in Zihuatanejo, the couple traveled to Belize for their honeymoon.
