Wedding Announcement
United States Air Force Captain, Blane Neufeld and United States Air Force Captain, Monique Cherie “Sherry” Graham were united in marriage on October 3, 2009 in Harlingen, TX in a private ceremony amongst their close family members and friends. The bride was escorted by her father, Tommy Graham who subsequently passed away while Sherry was deployed to Afghanistan. They renewed their vows of marriage on July 31, 2010, following Sherry’s return from her deployment, on the white sand beaches of Riviera Maya, Mexico amongst all their friends and other family members.
Mother of the bride is Mrs. Carole Graham of Harlingen TX and father, the late Tommy Graham. Parents of the groom are Keith and Sally Neufeld of Inman, KS.
Amy Keillor of Austin, TX, best friend of the bride served as Maid of Honor, Lisa Chumley and Rachel Harper both of Ft Worth, TX and also best friends of the bride served as her Matrons of Honor; Brian Oard of Inman KS, best friend of the groom served as Best Man; Kevin Neufeld of Inman, KS, brother of the groom and Jack Graham of Harlingen, TX, brother of the bride served as groomsmen. Flower girls included nieces of the bride and groom. The wedding was officiated by Mr. Chris Evers, husband of Patty Evers (Davis), of Austin TX, friends of the bride. Ms. Beth Brinster owner of Jesse’s Flowers in Harlingen served as wedding coordinator.
The bride was awarded her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University, Ft. Worth, TX, Mortuary of Science degree from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, Dallas, TX and Master’s in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University, St Luis, MO.
The groom was awarded his Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO where he played offensive line for the Air Force Falcons and Master’s in Aerospace Administration and Logistics from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Durant, OK.
The couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico and is currently stationed at Tinker AFB, OK.
