TEXAS NOTICE

CITY OF SANTA ROSA, TEXAS NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES AND FOR MANAGEMENT SERVICES TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM PROJECT, FY 2011-2012

The City of Santa Rosa is seeking to contract with:

(1)

A registered firm or individual qualified to provide engineering services required by the locality for the procurement of grant funding from the Texas Community Development Block Grant Program and for the implementation of a project or projects anticipated to be carried out with the grant assistance procured.

(2)

A firm or individual qualified to provide management services required by the locality for the procurement of grant funding from the Texas Community Development Block Grant Program and for the implementation of a project or projects anticipated to be carried out with the grant assistance procured.

The project or projects will be financed with federal funds from grants administered by the Texas Department of Rural Affairs under its Texas Community Development Block Grant Program. In order to be considered, proposals must be received prior to 4:30

P.M. on October20, 2010.

Complete Requests for Proposals have been prepared for this purpose; those outline the services required by the locality, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria. Interested parties may obtain copies of the Requests for Proposals by contacting the City Secretary by telephone at (956) 636-1113 or by sending mail addressed to the Office of the Mayor, City of Santa Rosa, P.O. Box 326, Santa Rosa, TX 78593.

The locality reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms submitting proposals, in accordance with the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards Act. The locality also reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
