LA FERIA, TX.—Nathaniel Arthur Hall
Comments 0 | Recommend 084, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX.
Nathaniel was born in McLeod, TX on July 15, 1925 to William and Annie Hall. He attended schools in McLeod and graduated from McLeod High School on May 24, 1946.
He enlisted in the United States Army where he honorably served as a Private, from January 22, 1944 to his discharge on April 9, 1946. He retired from the Texas Highway Dept. after many years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hall of La Feria, TX; son, David A. Hall of Harlingen, TX; grandchildren, Karri Kienman and Dave Hall; three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Aline Hall in 1973.
Visitation hours will be held from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Buck Ashcraft Funeral Home, 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 12, 2009 with the Rev. Mel Justice officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #205.
Graveside services will be held at the Good Exchange Cemetery in McLeod, TX, 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 15, 2009.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations may be made to the First Church of The Nazarene, 2001 N. 7th St., Harlingen, TX 78550.
