Wedding Announcement

Rebekah Estelle Herrmann and Adam David Batot were united in marriage on Saturday, September 6, 2008 in a sunset ceremony on the bay at South Padre Island, Texas. The bride is the daughter of Rosemarie Herrmann of Harlingen and the late James A. Herrmann; the groom is the son of David and Louise Batot of Harlingen. The ceremony was officiated by the Reverend Joe Perez.

The bride wore a floor length Dupioni silk gown and was escorted by her grandfather, AC Herrmann of Plano. The bridesmaids wore blue sundresses and carried a variety of blue and white flowers. Sarah Herrmann served as her sister’s maid of honor; the bride was also attended by bridesmaids Alison Kutzenberger, Sara Flores, Angela de Leon, Barbrie Butters and Kelly Batot. Lacy Landry, Gail Bickford, and Amy Chance served as attendants. Daniel Batot was best man for his twin brother; groomsmen were Adam Brown, Carlos Molina, Mac Kutzenberger, Craig Butters and Scott Stineman. Lane Butters, Casey Landry, Cody Phillips and John DeLellis served as ushers. The bride’s cousin, Dominic Chiappone, and the groom’s cousin, Riley Kilgore, served as ring bearers. Hailee Kilgore was the flower girl, and Barrett Kilgore carried the bible from which the bride’s godmother and aunt, Jane Quinn, provided a reading. Special guests included the couple’s grandparents, including AC Herrmann, Anna Mae Batot and Clyde Fincher, as well as numerous friends and family members.

The wedding ceremony was followed by dinner and dancing at Amberjack’s Restaurant on South Padre Island. The bride and groom honeymooned on the island of St. Lucia and reside in Hunt, Texas.
