Clara Faye Holden

Born September 24, 1928 went to be with the L0RD on October 14, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. Clara was born in Lou Ann, Arkansas. She raised her family in Wilmington, North Carolina. Clara lived in the Valley for over 40 years. She was a prominent business owner of Milliard Holden Truck Brokerage, Holden Produce, Inc. and Holden Security and Storm Shutters.

She was preceded in death by her husband Millard M. Holden, Jr., and son Kirk “Ricky” Holden.

Clara is survived by her sister, Joy (Jim) Tinsley of Smackover, AR; daughters, Sandra Hess of Mc Allen,TX, Joyce (Bobby) Johnson of Wilmington, NC; 10 grand children, Scott Hess, Kelly (Eric) Painter, Gina Gonzales, Steven Hess, Jeremy (Christina) Holden Kristi Holden, Lisa, Paul, Jordan, and Bobby, Jr.; 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and cousins from Wilmington, NC.

Clara touched many lives and will be missed. We take comfort in knowing she is Home.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Kreidler Funeral Home from 12:00 to 6p.m., with the family present from 4 - 6. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18 at Kreidler Funeral Home in Mc Allen . Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Hess, John McCoy, Osvaldo Servantes, Mitch Underwood, Jesus Guillen and Juan Guerra.
