68, of Houston went to be with his Lord & Savior, Monday, July 7, 2008. He was born January 13, 1940 in Mercedes, TX to Antonio and Angela Palacios.

Leonzo served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years retiring in 2004. His interest included watching football, boxing, and the Astro's, traveling and anything with trains. But most of all spending time with his family and especially his grandson Aizik.

Leonzo is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Anita Gomez.

Leonzo is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Petra Palacios; children, Leonzo Palacios Jr., Juanita Patricia Palacios; brother, Baldemar Palacios, sisters, Antonia Martinez, Arminda Mireles, Janie Palacios; grandsons, Aizik Anthony Rangel, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
