LAGUNA VISTA—James Seal
Comments 0 | Recommend 072, passed away at home in Laguna Vista on November 17, 2009. James was born in St. James, MN.
Jim served in the US Navy, was a skilled and creative carpenter, enjoyed political involvement and excelled at cooking. He loved to read, travel, fish and have a good conversation over meals he prepared for family and friends.
Jim spent most of his years enduring cold MN winters until he discovered Laguna Vista, where he quickly became a Texan and embraced the valley culture. Many valley friends and a large number of Winter Texans helped make Jim’s Texas years so enjoyable.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, Jim is survived by his mother, Edith; brother, Robert (Glenna); children: Kirsten, Brennan (Andrea) and Morgan, and Barbara’s children: Valorie Klemz and Deanna (Mark) Haugh; wonderful grandchildren and a delightful assortment of extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held in St. James, MN, his hometown. A celebration of Jim’s life will be scheduled at a later date in Laguna Vista.
Arrangements are under the direction of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home and Crematory.
