TSTC job fair seeks exhibitors
Employers are invited to meet Texas State Technical College Harlingen graduates during the college’s annual job fair in the TSTC Cultural Arts Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 6.
There is no fee for businesses to reserve an exhibit booth. Companies and individuals are encouraged to visit with prospective employees, network with college faculty and administrators, arrange interviews with job candidates, and promote their business interests. For the first time, TSTC will offer “virtual employer representation” for companies that want to use SKYPE technology to communicate with students during the job fair. TSTC will provide the computer equipment, camera and a representative to staff the booth. Companies may choose to have a recruiter speak at a booth, schedule a specific time for a short presentation via SKYPE or send a video to play continuously during the job fair.
Exhibit spaces are limited. Businesses may make reservations online at www.harlingen.tstc.edu/careerservices/registration.aspx or call the Career Services Office at 956.364.4106. Employers also are welcome to visit faculty at the Career Services booth between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 6.
The job fair schedule starts April 5 with businesses setting up booths at the TSTC Cultural Arts Center from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a complimentary breakfast for exhibitors from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. April 6.
