Woman accused of stabbing common-law husband

HARLINGEN — A woman was arraigned Tuesday in connection with an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon on her common-law husband, police said.
Yolanda Espinosa, 26, was charged with the second-degree felony after an incident in which police said she stabbed her common-law husband twice in the hip after an argument had escalated, according to a press release by Harlingen police Sgt. John Parrish.
The man was taken to Valley Baptist Medical Center for treatment.
Bond for Espinosa was set at $60,000.
