Roberto Longoria
LA FERIA, TX.—
Roberto Longoria, 83, a lifetime resident of La Feria who went to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, July 20, 2011. He was born on September 1, 1927 in San Isidro, Texas to Amado Longoria and Josefina Agado.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Longoria.
Roberto is survived by his loving family, daughters, Esmeralda (Frank) Rocha, Susana (Gerald) Carmona, and Eva (Ruben) Rios; sons, Roberto Longoria, Jr., Ramon (Linda) Longoria; 15 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today, July 21, 2011 from 1 P.M. to 9 P.M. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 P.M. at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit.
A funeral mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10 A.M. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with interment to follow to Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Frank Rocha, Robert Rocha, Gerald Carmona, Roy Rios, Ryan Rios, and Michael Gonzales.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bryan Rios, Alan Macias, and Austin Wood.
