AUSTIN, TX. — Curtis Milton Lusk
Graveside services for Curtis Milton Lusk, age 92 of Austin, Texas were held on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Loop Cemetery, with Rev. Matt Edwards officiating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
Mr. Lusk passed away Friday, October 16, 2009 at Light House Hospice in Austin, Texas following a lengthy illness. He was born February 19, 1917 in Comanche, Texas to Birdie Marie (Melton) and Carl Ward Lusk.
He married Billie Vick April 23, 1938 in Brownfield, Texas. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Harlingen. He owned his own business in air conditioning and appliance repair called C&L Services for the past thirty-four years in Harlingen, Texas. He also served in the United States Air Force in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Lusk of Austin, Texas, 1 son Curtis Kevin Lusk of Georgetown, Texas, 3 daughters, Vicki Wood of Austin, Texas, Kay Sinitiere and husband Darryl of Tyler, Texas, and Karen Smith of Leander, Texas, 2 sisters, Jolene Garrett of Pearce, Arizona, and Rosa Faye Williams of Lubbock, Texas, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
