Marvin and Peggy (Williams) Huckle of Harlingen celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary.

   Marvin and Peggy were married at the First United Methodist Church in Alice, Texas on Saturday, June 4, 1960.

   They celebrated their 50th anniversary by having two events.

    The first event was a dinner on Friday, June 4 at Applebee's with several close friends, followed by dancing at the Harlingen Elks Lodge. Also attending was Peggy's brother, Edmund D. Williams from McAllen, Texas.

   The second celebration was a dinner party in the Texas Hill Country with their daughter Emily Ann and her family: husband James Robert Allen II and sons, James Robert, III, and Dustin Anthony, on Saturday, June 12, at the Lost Creek Winery and Tree House Bistro. Also attending were Marvin's sister, Margie Anderson and her husband Al, from San Antonio, Texas.
