Engagement Announcement

   Matthew and Denise McCarthy of San Benito are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lynann Marie McCarthy of Corpus Christi, Texas to Lance Bryan Schmidt of Taft, Texas. Lance is the son of Wesley and Melanie Schmidt of Taft.

    Lynann and Lance are both alumni of Texas State University. She is a Radiation Therapist for the Corpus Christi Urology Group at their Radiation Oncology Center. He is a Dietetic and Nutrition Specialist for the Texas Department of State Health Services.

   The couple will marry on November 12, 2011, in Concan, Texas.
