LA FERIA, TX.— Guadalupe Mejorado
Comments 0 | Recommend 096, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. She loved to sing, was a member of the choir at Sunglo Day Care, loved to play Chalupa, a great cook, and was always smiling. She was born on November 27, 1912 to Juan and Tomasa Segovia in Mexico and is preceded in death by her husband; Juan Antonio Mejorado, a daughter; Minerva Mejorado and a son; George Mejorado.
Left behind to cherish loving memories are her children; Olga Mejorado, Joaquin Mejorado both of La Feria, Gilberto (Rosie) Mejorado of Stafford, TX., Alfonso (Olivia) Mejorado of Lansing MI, Alejandro (Martha) Mejorado of San Clemente, CA, Juan (Lydia) Mejorado of South Houston, TX, 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today, Oct. 8, 2009 at the Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace from 9 am until 9 pm with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7 pm. The funeral procession will depart on Friday, Oct. 9, 2009 at 12:45 pm for a funeral service to be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in La Feria at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Honored to serve, as pallbearers are David Mejorado, Oscar Mejorado, Rudy Montalvo, R.J. Montalvo, William Thurston and Ralph Mejorado.
A special thanks to her provider for the past 6 years, Romi Villarreal.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and will never be forgotten.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Harlingen.
