Wedding Announcement

James and Gayle Wall are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Carole Elizabeth Wall of Austin, Texas to Michael Scott Metcalf, previously of Harlingen, Texas.

The double ring ceremony was held on August 8, 2008 at St. George's Episcopal Church in Austin, Texas with the Reverend David W. Hoster officiating.

The bride is the daughter of James & Gayle Wall of Austin, Texas. The Groom's parents are Delphia ‘‘Del'' Curran & David May of Lyford, Texas & Mike Metcalf of Houston, Texas.

Those in attendance for the bride were Janie Wiley of Austin, Texas (Maid of Honor) and her attendants: Sue Worcester, of Austin, Texas (sister-in-law of the bride), and Elda Fonseca of Austin, Texas.

The Best Man was Randy Witt of Round Rock, Texas and the groomsmen were Adam Yekin of Phoenix, Arizona (brother), and Roy Jensen of Austin, Texas.

The Flower Girls were Sarah & Hannah Rearick (friends of the bride) and the Ring Bearer was Payton Witt (son of Best Man) and Ethan Worcester (nephew of the bride).

The wedding reception was held at the Doubletree Hotel in Austin, Texas, where a formal dinner was served followed by music and dancing.

Carole graduated from Concordia University in Austin with a degree in Behavioral Science in 1998. In 2005, she received a Master's Degree from St. Edward's University in Austin in Liberal Arts. She previously worked for the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and Child Protective Services. She has been employed with the Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center as a Forensic Interviewer for the past 5 years.

Scott was a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy for 6 years where he was able to enjoy living in a variety of places including Naples, Italy. He was honorably discharged in 2003 and returned to school and received a degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology in 2005. He has been employed with Seton Healthcare as a Biomedical Equipment Technician at Brackenridge Hospital for the past 2 years.

Scott and Carole have purchased a new home and will reside in Hutto, Texas with their dogs Blue and Lilo.
