Engagement Announcement

   Dr. and Mrs. Ruy Mireles of McAllen are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Marysol Mireles, to Dr. Ernesto Gerardo Treviño, son of Dr. and Mrs. Ernesto Treviño of McAllen.

   The bride-elect graduated from McAllen Memorial High School and obtained a BS in Biology and minor in Psychology at the University of Texas-Pan American. After college, she studied French language at Eurocentres and the Art of French pastry at Ecole Ritz Escoffier in Paris, France. She is now employed as business manager of the South Texas Neurological Center, P.A..

   The groom-elect graduated from McAllen Memorial High School and obtained a BS in Biology at the University of Texas-San Antonio. He received a D.D.S. at the UTHSC-San Antonio School of Dentistry and a certificate of residency in Advanced General Dentistry at the Audie Murphy V.A. Hospital in San Antonio. He completed his specialty training/residency in Endodontics at the UTHSC-San Antonio before returning to the Valley; and now works in private practice as an Endodontist with offices in Edinburg and Harlingen.

   The Nuptial Mass will be celebrated on January 21, 2012 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in McAllen, Texas.
