Mindy Morado of San Benito, Texas and Hiram Hesiquio Pena of Harlingen, Texas were united in marriage on February 20, 2010 at the Rancho Viejo Casa Grande Hall in Rancho Viejo, Texas with retired judge Mr. Frank S. Pena, grandfather of the groom, officiating the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Alfredo and Bertha Morado of San Benito, Texas. The groom is the son of Hesiquio Pena and Sylvia Salazar of Harlingen, Texas.
The bride’s cousin, Robynn Elaine Gomez and the bride’s best friend, Patricia Ann Gaytan, both from Rio Hondo, Texas served as Maids of Honor. Junior Bridesmaids were Annabel Adelina Morado, Lake Jackson, Texas, niece of the bride, and Georgina Renee Montiel, cousin of the bride from Rio Hondo, Texas. Flower girls were Evelyn Ruth Silva and Francesca Alina Montiel, both cousins of the bride from Rio Hondo, Texas.
The groom’s brother, Isaac Frank Pena from Harlingen, Texas and the bride’s brother, Jaime Morado of San Benito, Texas both served as the Best Men. The ring bearer was Hiram Jaime Morado, nephew of the bride from Lake Jackson, Texas.
The western themed dinner and reception was held at the Rancho Viejo Casa Grande Hall in Rancho Viejo, Texas. Photography was provided by Janine Marie Photography of Harlingen, Texas with flowers and decoration provided by Kay's Bokay of Harlingen, Texas.
The bride is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University and is a teacher with the Harlingen school district. The groom graduated from Harlingen High School and is a Supervisor for FedEx in Harlingen, Texas.
After celebrating their honeymoon in Las Vegas, Nevada, the couple are residing in San Benito, Texas.
