SANTA MARIA, TX. — Emilio G. Morales
Comments 0 | Recommend 070, of Santa Maria went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 2, 2008 after a short illness.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter; Esmeralda Morales.
He is survived by his loving wife; Maria Morales of 46 years from Santa Maria, children; Emilio (Teresa) Morales of Mountain City, Diana (Arturo) Rodriguez of Mercedes, Martina (Alonzo) Salinas, Maria L. Morales, Laura (Robert) Morales all of Santa Maria, Leticia (Daniel) Munoz of Florida, Samuel Morales, Manuel Morales, Brenda (Robert) Velasquez, Janie Morales all of Santa Maria, Guadalupe Castanon and Francisco Morales Garcia both of Matamoros, Mexico; 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 from 9 am till 9 pm with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2008 departing the Rudy Garza Funeral Home at 9:15 am for a Mass of Christian burial at St. Margaret-Ann Catholic Church at 10 am. Services will conclude at the church.
Pallbearers will be Arturo Rodriguez, Jr., Arturo Rodriguez, Sr., Alonzo Salinas, Robert Smith, Emilio Morales and Robert L. Velasquez.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. "Fear not for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you...For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior...Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you."
