RIO HONDO, TX.—Nola Hull Norman

Age 81, of Rio Hondo went to be with our Lord on November 1, 2009. She was born January 7, 1928 to William D. and Josie Emma Buck Hull in Shirley, Tennessee.

After marrying Goldman Norman, August 21, 1946, her life as a young bride began with a move to Rio Hondo, TX from Shirley, Tennessee. There she and Goldman lived a happy life farming and raising two sons.

Mrs. Norman is survived by her sons, Gary (Elaine) of Spring Branch, TX and Eben (Rosemarie) of Harlingen, TX; grandchildren: Chris Norman (Emily) of San Antonio, TX, Adria Sosnowski (Mike) of Omaha, NE, Katrina Norman of San Antonio, TX. Erica Norman of San Antonio, TX and Lisa Marie Norman of Harlingen, TX; 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Lt. Col. Elbert Hull and Dr. John Hull both of Georgia; her sister-in-law, Delma Clayborn of Allardt, TN; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Nola is preceded in death by her husband, Goldman in 2005, her parents, her sister, Ellen Baese, and 4 of her brothers: Curt, Houston, Arthur and Carson Hull.

Visitation will be at Henry Thomae Funeral Home Tuesday, November 3rd, from 1pm to 7pm with the family present from 5pm to 7pm. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 4th, at 10am at Mont Meta Cemetery with Pastor Gene Horton officiating.
