n Bonham’s Bears seeks volunteers to make teddy bears that are given to first responders, shelters, and other community support services, which are then given to children in crises. All are welcome and no sewing skills are needed, because there's plenty of tracing, cutting, stuffing, etc. Meetings are held 9 – 11 a.m on Thursdays at the Green Bay South Clubhouse, 13949 Club Drive, La Feria. n Magic Valley Stamp Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month. The next meeting will be Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Camelot Retirement Village in the Club House, 1000 Camelot Drive, Harlingen.

Members can buy or sell stamps and meet fellow stamp collectors. At 7:30 p.m. there is a short business meeting, followed by a stamp auction of about 40 lots prepared by club members. The auction lots can be previewed starting at 7 p.m.
