    Miss Karina Ann Paris and Mr. Christopher Chase Carlisle were united in marriage on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at half past five in the evening at The Ranch at San Patricio in Mathis, Texas. Pastor Ed Benick of Bay Area Fellowship officiated the outdoor double ring ceremony. Music was provided by The Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra String Quartet. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Ranch at San Patricio with entertainment provided by The Grooves Band from Austin, Texas. On the eve of the wedding the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Landry’s on the Bay in Corpus Christi, Texas.

    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ira Paris of Harlingen, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Salmond of San Benito, Texas and Mrs. Evelyn Alexander Paris and the late Mr. Herbert J. Paris of Harlingen, Texas. The groom is the son of Mr. Thomas Lawrence Carlisle and Mrs. Brenda Webster Olson, both of Corpus Christi, Texas and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Charles Carlisle, Sr. of Alice, Texas, Mrs. Janet Carlisle of Alice, Texas, and Mrs. Wanda Webster and the late Mr. Gilliand Webster of Lubbock, Texas.

    Presented in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride selected an intricate lace gown designed by Maggie Soterro. The sheath fit gown was detailed with rich decorative beading at the empire waist and featured a high mandarin keyhole back and fishtail train finished with scalloped edging. To compliment her gown she wore an ivory blusher veil created from her mothers circular cut veil. For late night dancing and departure, Karina wore an ivory custom designed three quarter sleeve cocktail length dress adorned with Swarovski crystals and lace.

    HollyAnne Farris Jenkins of Houston, Texas served as Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Angela Belle Plumaj of Houston, Texas, Ashley Drapal Rippke of Franklin, Tennessee, Katherine Nicole Barry of Houston, Texas, Kendra Joi Lee of Austin, Texas, Juliana Carlisle, sister of the groom, and Kayci Brunell Hunt, both of Corpus Christi, Texas. Emily Rae Curry, cousin of the bride, served as the Flower Girl. Balous Terrell Miller, Jr., of San Antonio, Texas, served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Paul Michael Haas, Cory Kyncade Johnson, both of Corpus Christi, Texas, William Andrew Ward, Kevin Sean MacWithey, Jr., Austin Harrison Tinsley, all of Houston, Texas, and Robert Webb Sellers, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas. Ushers were Taylor Lev Hunt, Justin Lee White, both of Corpus Christi, Texas and Marcus Kipp Layton, Jr. of Hebbronville, Texas.

    Karina is a graduate of Harlingen High School South and Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi. She is currently employed as

the Director of Communications and Marketing for the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority. Chase is a graduate of

Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Texas. He went on to receive his Bachelors of Business Administration in Business Management

from Texas A&M University, College Station where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Chase is currently employed as

Commercial Account Executive for Carlisle Insurance.  Following a honeymoon in Puerto Rico and Anguilla, the couple resides in

Corpus Christi, Texas with their black lab, Coy, and cat, Boots.
