Leila Renee Pezeshki from San Benito, Texas and Ray Javier Galvan from McAllen, Texas were united in marriage on September 11, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church in San Benito, Texas with Dr. John Roberts officiating the ceremony.

    The Bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. G. Hossein Pezeshki from San Benito, Texas.

    The Groom is the son of Ms. Aida Diana Galvan from Edinburg, Texas and Mr. Santos Galvan from Weslaco, Texas.

    The Bride's cousin, Mindy Pena from San Benito, Texas was the Matron of Honor. The bridesmaids were Monica Garcia, cousin of the bride, from San Benito, Texas and Sheila Gouldman, friend of the bride, from Fort Worth, Texas. Flowers girls were Emma Siran Pezeshki and Sofia Arvaneh Pezeshki nieces of the bride from San Benito, Texas.

    The Groom's brother, Michael Galvan from Houston, Texas was the best man. The groomsmen were Joshua Galvan and Matthew Galvan, groom's nephews from Houston, Texas; and the ring bearer was Jacob Galvan nephew of the groom from Houston, Texas.

    The bride is a graduate of Texas A&M University-Kingsville where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering. She is currently employed as an Environmental Engineer with INVISTA, in Victoria, Texas.

    The groom is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering. He is employed as a Chemical Engineer with INVISTA, in Victoria, Texas.

    The reception was held at The Sheraton South Padre Island Beach Hotel in South Padre Island, Texas.

    The couple plan to honeymoon in Italy in the Spring.
