Raul & Socorro Garza celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on May 4, 2008. The couple renewed their wedding vows at Assumption Catholic Church and held a celebration reception at Rio Grande Valley Shrine on May 3, 2008.

The celebration was attended by their children: Heriberto, Norma, Raul Jr., Thelma, Ricky, Adrian, their children's spouses, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
