53rd Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Roberto and Alicia (Solis) Diaz celebrated their 53rd Anniversary with a luncheon for family and friends at the San Benito Community Building on April 13, 2008.
They were married on April 11, 1955 at the Iglesia Presbyteriana in San Benito, Texas.
Roberto was a produce manager for Lopez Supermarket in Harlingen, Texas, and retired in 1993. Alicia worked as an attendance clerk for San Benito CISD and retired in 1994.
The couple have five children, sons Bob (Gracie), Rudy (Melissa), Ron (Analiza), and daughters Rozanne and Becky (Omar) Hernandez.
They have three grandchildren, Robert Alex, Noah James, and Sophia Andrea.
The couple continue to reside in San Benito,TX.
