Engagement Announcement

    Tiburcio & Lupita Rodriguez of Harlingen, Texas are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lucy Rodriguez to Freddie Gonzalez, son of Alfredo & Cruzita Gonzalez of Harlingen, Texas.

    The bride elect is a 2000 graduate of Harlingen High School South and a 2004 graduate of Quincy University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences.  Lucy received a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2008 from the University of Texas-Pan American. She is currently employed at Mercy Kids Rehab in Brownsville.

   The prospective groom is a 1997 graduate of Harlingen High School South and a 2001 graduate of the University of Texas-Brownsville where he received his Bachelors of Arts in Spanish. He is currently employed as a high school Spanish teacher by San Benito CISD.

    The wedding will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church on February 26, 2011 at 2 pm.
