Wedding Announcement 

 

     

Marisela Rosales and Mark McEowen both of Rio Hondo, Texas were married on July 11, 2009 at Chapel By the Sea, South Padre, Island, Texas with Reverend Jim Denham officiating the ceremony. The reception was held at Schlitterbahn, South Padre Island, Texas.

     

     

The bride is the daughter of Mary and Frank Rosales of Rio Hondo and is employed with Harlingen Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapist.

     

     

The groom is the son of the late J.R. and Nancie McEowen and is employed with the Rio Hondo Elementary School as Special Education Teacher.

     

     

Matron of Honor for the bride was Missy Franklin of Frisco, TX, sister of the bride. The Best Man was Frank Rosales (father of the bride), Rio Hondo, TX. Serving as attendants for the couple were: John and Judy Lewis (uncle & aunt of groom), Navarre Beach, FL., Joanne and Charlie Dietrich (aunt & uncle of groom) of Liberty Hill, TX, Annette Knight (aunt of groom), New Ulm, TX, Mickie Crabtree (aunt of groom) Weimer, TX, Barbera Aldridge (aunt of groom) Corpus Chrisi, TX and Mr. & Mrs. Rudy Galcon (godparents of bride) Brownsville,TX. The ushers were Frank Rosales, Jr., (brother of bride), Irving, TX, Chris Franklin (brother-in-law of bride) Frisco, TX and Aaron Patrick Garcia (violin player) Harlingen, TX, and flower girls, Kaitlyn Cassidy and Brittany Franklin (nieces of the bride) Frisco, TX.

     

After their honeymoon trip to Europe, the couple are residing in Rio Hondo, Texas.
