SANTA MARIA, TX. — Benito Ruelas

He was born March 3, 1926 to Guillermo and Arnulfa Ruelas in Cruillas Mexico.
He is survived by his loving family; wife; Paula de la Fuente Ruelas of Santa Maria, Tx., 5 Daughters; Josefina (Silvestre) Gloria of Rio Bravo, Mx., San Juana (Felipe) Flores of Santa Maria, Tx., Tomasa (Guadalupe) Valdez of Santa Maria,Tx.,
Leticia (Daniel) Zuniga of Santa Maria, Tx., Rachel (Guillermo) Cruz of Fla., 6 Sons; Ricardo(Celia) Ruelas of Santa Maria, Tx., Raul (Alma) Ruelas of Michigan, Rene (Isabel) Ruelas of Santa Maria, Tx., Benito Ruelas Jr. of Fla., Rogelio (Rachel) Ruelas of Santa Maria, Tx., Jesus (Onieda) Ruelas of Santa Maria, Tx., 43 Grandchildren, 38 Great-grandchildren, 2 Sisters: Emilia Saldivar of Fla., Pura P. Munoz of El Ranchito,Tx., 2 Brothers; Baldemar Ruelas of Harlingen, Adan (Melchora) Ruelas of Edinburg,Tx., and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today, Saturday, December 26, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 27, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited on Sunday night at 7:00p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 28, 2009. We will depart Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at St. Margaret Ann’s Catholic Church in Santa Maria, with interment to follow at Heavenly Grace Cemetery in La Feria, Texas.
Mr. Ruelas was a loving and dedicated son, brother, husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather. He is and will forever be loved and missed by all those who knew him.
