What is your favorite smell, and why?
Cherry aroma is my favorite scent because it has a nice fresh beautiful smell. Its smell makes me feel as if I were in another world. My own world where I could do and be whatever I want, like a king. Once you take that first bite, your taste buds scream for more. They are like a ball fully packed with sweet tasty energy. It’s like if you're on your way to heaven being greeted by God. Cherries are a great tasting food because of all the feelings you get when you have one of those great tasting red little spheres.

My favorite smell is when rain starts to hit the ground and you smell dirt. I can smell it right before heavy rain starts. This smell is so unique and relaxes one’s soul. It reminds me of nature, the good outdoors. Every time I smell the rain, I wish heavy rain will fall.

Well, I have to say that my favorite smell is the fresh smell of Little Caesers hot 'n' ready pizza. Usually because my mother would bring home a box of pizza from Little Caesers every Wednesday night for pizza night. Also, it reminds me of when I was kid growing up. I remember throwing a slice at my sister in the face. Basically my favorite smell, because of the joyful memories it brings back!

My favorite smell is the certain wet dirt scent it gives off when it’s about to rain. The reason I like that smell is because it reminds me of all the times I was being accompanied by my cousins outside, playing football in the rain. It also brings back those good old memories when I used to live next to my grandparents, and would sit by them outside on the front porch, watching the rain fall off the roof of the house. It doesn’t matter if I’m having a bad day, once I smell that wet dirt scent, it never fails to draw a smile on my face.

My favorite smell is flowers. I like the way they smell because they each have there own unique smell. There are so many types of flowers. And most of them have a sweet smell like roses, bluebonnets, sunflowers, violets, birds of paradise and so on. My favorite flower smell is the birds of paradise.

My favorite smell is either fresh baked cookies or Bath and Body Works. I like the smell of fresh baked cookies because it makes me feel like I’m at home and everything is ok. I also like the smell because it makes people feel good and have a good time. I like the smell of Bath and Body Works because there are a whole bunch of fragrances put together and it makes it smell sooooo good. It fills your nose with happiness.

My favorite smell is peanut butter cookies baking in the oven. That’s my favorite smell because it is like the smell of sugar and peanut butter mixed together. It also reminds me of my family and me on cold nights making peanut butter cookies and drinking hot cocoa, and watching movies. That’s why it’s my favorite smell.

My favorite smell would be corn. The smell makes me want to eat it. I have never eaten corn but one day I will. My whole family likes eating corn but not me. It feels like they want me to eat corn. It’s like they want me to suffer from the smell. They make corn and it makes me want to smell it for the whole day. Too bad I got other things to do than smelling delicious corn. Every day when I see corn, I want to eat it every day. But mostly smell it and also taste & smell it other food.

My favorite smell is a bakery and the pastries in there. When you walk in, there is a sweet aroma in the air. Cakes, cookies, and pastries smell and taste good. I have heard that half of your taste comes from your smell. Pastries especially smell good when they are hot out of the oven. Cookies, cupcakes, and many other pastries smell like sugar and spice and everything nice. I know this might sound like a girl but pastries are actually made out of sugar and spice and they make you feel nice when you smell there amazing aroma.

My favorite smell is probably the smell of an awesome soccer field. It makes my sinuses open, and my limbs feel as if they cannot break. The smell of a soccer field brings me to the point of greatest peace. It almost scares me, as if I were brought to Heaven and back again. I cannot totally explain my reason why, but when I am on the soccer field, I cannot die. My battery is charged, my legs are swift, and sometimes I feel faster than a car on drift.
Luke Disque, St. Anthony Catholic School

My favorite smell is when someone starts to put meat on a barbecue. Right when I go outside you can just smell the meat. I also like it because I love meat and how it is cooked on the barbecue pit. When you hear the meat on the pit you could just taste the meat in your mouth. You could smell the coal, smoke, and especially the meat on the barbecue pit. I just love it so much when you close the top and leave it there after a few minutes I love how the smell just goes straight to you. I love the different kind of meat smell that goes to you. Sometimes before it burns the longer you cook it the better it smells. I love meat smells.

My favorite smell is a gleaming soccer field. When I run the smell rushes into my nose and powers my body. It is the simple smell of nature. The smell shines as the sun at 2:00 pm. When I am on the pitch I am at my happiest place. The feeling is like opening Christmas presents in the morning. It powers my body to its max. It makes me feel faster than a train. My mind awakes as the smell goes into my nose. It is the smell of freedom, peace, and family. On the pitch I feel free to do anything. I can feel God next to me. I feel like God and my ancestors run with me. This smell is a complex smell to understand. You need an open mind and heart. This is my favorite smell.

My favorite smell is AXE cologne because it smells good, and it attracts girls. If you like to play outside, AXE is helpful. When you come inside you are smelly, sweaty. Just spray AXE on and it will not get off of you. It will stay there until you shower.

Each person has his or own special characteristics that make up who they are. The basics are, well, basically, hobbies, likes and dislikes, how you look, that sort of thing. But what no one ever thinks that could make up a person is their favorite smell. Now, my ‘special smell’ is beyond belief, and totally bizarre. (Not to mention cookoo.) I now ask you to think back on a time where you went to buy your groceries, or make a delectable snack. You now know the pure, creamy richness of…….a freshly opened jar of JIF peanut butter. I know crazy right?! Well, I know ask you to go and try it. There are plenty of good, maybe even great, smells in the world. But, there will always be that unique, and happiness in a jar of peanut butter that will make every child’s mouth water. And, after getting a whiff of that bad boy, when you finally taste it, makes it all the more awesome. It’s so perfect, and so flawless in that cylinder like jar, which makes it all the more superb. So, yeah, think I’m weird. But while you’re off blabbing to the whole entire world at how incredibly bizarre my favorite smell is, I’ll be in my own little corner of heaven, with my various peanut butter based cuisines.

My favorite smell is the blissful smell of the outdoors. Because it gives me lots of energy, it always makes me feel like I’m in a happy place, it makes me feel like when I’m far away from home I feel like I’m close to it. I play a lot of basketball at my house so the fresh air really helps me to keep me going. I also like it because without it the air in the whole world will be abandoned with no one in it. I also like it because it doesn’t take up a lot of room.

My favorite smell is strawberries. The reason I like this smell is because when you smell the strawberry you smell a unique smell and when you eat this food it’s chewy and soft. When I smell the strawberry it brings me to peace and relaxation. You can’t find any other fruit that smell and tastes that way. This food is used in many tasty dishes. This fruit is red and green; it’s small and easy to eat.

My favorite smell is the freshness of a pine tree on the first day of December. I like it because it has the most delicate pines. It smells like the great outdoors. I guess that I’m used to the smell of it in my house. The tree it’s self has a very unique smell; it smells like Christmas on the outside and the outdoors in the inside. I LOVE THIS SMELL!

My favorite scent is the smell of hazelnut cream because whenever you pour a little bit into your coffee the scent rises, filling the whole room with its fragrance. The scent makes everything all the more pleasurable, almost like a blast of wind during a hot summer day. I also like the way the scent comforts me while lifting away all my worries.

The smell of the salt water while fishing and the smell of the wilderness while I’m hunting. These are my favorite smells because they remind me of when I was younger and did these things with my dad. Another favorite scent is the one when walking into my grandpa’s house, it smelled like his cologne. I will never forget the way it smells. My favorite smell is the smell of chocolate my reason to like this smell is because of the way it tastes and well I love mostly just about anything with chocolate except in ice cream. I don’t know why but I just don’t like the taste of it. I think that a majority of the people in this world likes some kind of chocolate maybe in cakes, ice cream, and candy, etc. Well that was my favorite smell.

When I walk in my house I love the smell of arroz con leche. When my mom makes it, I enjoy sitting in the kitchen for a long time until I finish eating three bowls of it. I would have to say that my favorite smell is the orange honeycomb scent from Febreeze. As funny as this may sound, after football games it's the smell I've learned to appreciate when all around you smell sweat. And even though it’s a cleaning supply this product really does smell good. All the fresh orange smell floating around and sanitizing the place. It's good stuff.

I think that my favorite smell would be the smell of nature or rather I should say like the places where the waterfalls are. The reason why is because I have never been an inside person and being outdoors is something beautiful to me. Taking the aromas of a waterfall is just so relaxing to me that’s why I would say places outside are magnificent and have the best smells. Places like these are the places that I would like to be because their smells are so unique from the cities that are polluted. Waterfall smells are the best!

My favorite scent is the cologne my dad uses. I have always been fascinated by his scent. When I was little my dad lived in Alabama and we were already down here in Texas and I remember I would get his bottle of cologne and smell it because it reminded me of him. Every time we went to pick him up at bus station I would run down to him and the first thing I would smell was the fragrance. Whenever he was about to leave he would give me a bear hug and his smell would stay on my shirt for weeks; I wouldn’t let my mom wash the shirt.

My favorite smell is the smell of fresh baked cookies. It reminds me of my grandma how when I was little I would go to her house and she would always have some cookies made for me. Smell is hard to describe. When someone says “it smells like a new born baby”, “smells like Anna’s house”, “she smells like a grandma”, the second they say something like that, your brain finds the memory and you just automatically know what they mean. My boyfriend of a year has his own smell, and I can tell it apart easily in milliseconds. If I could buy his scent in a bottle, I would. If the smell is extra heavy, it gets on my skin if I am lucky, I love it dearly. I will never know how to describe the way his scent is to me. I honestly believe he is my first love and I know I will never forget him, his looks, and his smell.

I would have to say my favorite smell would be the smell of pasta. It just has such a wonderful smell that reminds me of so many dishes. The smell of one kind of pasta reminds me of the many more pastas out there. Most people would say their favorite scent is vanilla, peppermint, or maybe even roses. But mine is a bit more tropical. My favorite scent is the smell of a hibiscus flower. When I was younger I spent mostly all of my summer at my grandma's house. And since she has a hibiscus bush in her back yard, I grew to love the smell of the colorful flower. And to this day that scent makes me think of how much I love my grandma.

Out of all the scents in this world the one that is my favorite is the smell of home because home is where you’re heart is. My favorite scent would have to be the smell of laundry detergent, not the liquid kind the powder kind. I don't really know the reason behind it, but ever since I was little I would hold the box of laundry detergent for my grandma while she was doing laundry and sniff it. When I go to H-E-B, I always pass through the laundry supplies isle to get a whiff of this magical scent. I literally spend about 5 to 10 minutes in that isle; sometimes people pass by and look at me funny...but oh well, in the end it was worth it!

I have many favorite scents, but my most favorite scent would have to my grandmother’s homemade tortillas. My favorite scent would be the smell of my grandmother’s warm homemade hot chocolate that she makes during every Christmas. The smell of the chocolate just makes me feel like I’m at home and nothing can go wrong. My favorite scent would have to be the smell of baby shampoo. Whenever I bathe my younger cousins when I’m baby sitting I take my time showering them and putting almost half the bottle of shampoo on them so when they get out the scent will stay on them. Sometimes when I go grocery shopping with my mom I sneak in a bottle so I can use, she usually laughs but accepts the fact that I love that smell. I really don’t know why I love it so much but it calms me and makes me feel clean and cozy. Almost as if I’m at home and nothing can go wrong.

My favorite smell would have to be the scent bacon gives off when it's sizzling on the frying pan. When I hear the bacon start to crisp up to it's amazing look, I stand close enough to where I am able to embrace the amazing smell of bacon. It's so mouth watering and the smell fills my nostrils with a yummy, greasy scent. To make it even better, I add extra strips of bacon to make the scent even tastier and delicious. My favorite smell would be the deliciousness of chocolate. It keeps me awake with just sniffing it. I consume chocolate, daily. It’s an addiction of mine, due to the fact that I don’t think I would be able to stop or control myself from not having the sweetness of it in my mouth. Ever since I was at a young age, chocolate would be my breakfast, lunch and dinner meal, aside from actual food. The smell's absolutely inviting with warmth and love. It makes children happy along with a smile in their face. Likewise to myself, even though I'm not a child, I’m a teenager who loves to consume chocolate when I’m happy, sad, annoyed, and especially angry. It satisfies me with its comforting sweetness. My nostrils can be attached to a chocolate bar, and yet the delicious smell wouldn’t fade.

In December, right when it starts getting real close to Christmas my mother bakes for two days straight; the house is filled with the wonderful aroma of fresh baked cookies. Sometimes it drives me crazy because all I want to do is eat them all right up, but others times I get to help bake and it's a lot of fun, especially when I get to sneak a few cookies. My favorite smell would have to be the smell of my home. The sweet smell of my home after a long day makes me feel calm and relaxed. Makes me feel safe and comfortable. Nothing smells better than home sweet home were you are safe and protected by the people you love.

For as long as I can remember, my house has always smelled like cinnamon. During the holiday months, my grandma is always baking. She loves to bake cookies, cakes, and bread. Of course something always had cinnamon. We love the scent so much that we always have cinnamon scented candles throughout our house. Everyone who comes to our house always loves the way it smells and says they feel comfortable in our house. So I have to say that cinnamon is my favorite scent because it reminds me of my home, my family, and the wonderful times we spend together.

My favorite smell would have to be the scent of coconuts. I like this smell because it is just soothing, and it helps me relax. It also smells delicious, and if it were a perfume, I would wear it all the time. Coconuts remind me of Hawaii and that's where I would go if I ever had the chance to get away.

To me, my favorite smell would have to be the smell of livestock and rodeo because I ride bulls and it’s my passion. So just the smell of livestock takes me to a whole new level, it signifies that I am at a rodeo and am about to do what I love most. Or just the fact that I'm around it, it sends chills all down my spine and gets me pumped up. People have a lot of different smells that tickles them, but for me it'd have to be the smell of rodeo and livestock itself.

My favorite smell is my grandmother’s perfume every morning. When I go to her house she greets me at the door with the biggest hugs; I always smell her beautiful perfume its like roses on a summers evening. It is like being in the garden surrounded by the most beautiful scented roses blooming all around. It is and always will be my favorite smell.

There are a lot of smells that smell good, but the smell that I love the most is right before the rains. The first time I smelled it for the first time was on my way to church. When my dad turned on the air condition that was the first thing I smelled. To me it smells sweet. My mom also likes how it smells before it rains. I think I got it from her. To me that is my favorite smell.

My favorite smell would have to be the perfume of “light blue” by Dolce & Gabbana. The reason I love the smell of this wonderful perfume is because it has a combination of smell of flowers, and a fresh type of smell. I’m pretty sure anyone would smell this odor will fall in love with it. But then again it is my opinion, but I would recommend it any person wanting to buy a certain type of fragrance.

My favorite smell is the smell of my loved one. Cheesy, of course, almost cliché, but his scent is all my favorites combined. Its birthday cake being baked, it's pizza on a Friday night or a stores fragrance, its perfection. Every time I whiff his scent in the hallway, or anywhere I'm at his image comes to mind and I wouldn't want anything else being my favorite. His scent is beauty, and magnificent. Therefore, he is my favorite scent. Love is my favorite scent.

My favorite smell would have to be the smell of freshly baked brownies, because it reminds me of my family and the quality time we spend together. When my family makes brownies I help them by either getting the right pans or getting the right ingredients. After we finally make the brownies the smell of chocolate is mixed with the sweet smell of accomplishment and satisfaction.

I adore the smell of peppermint. Ever since I can remember, as a little girl, putting up the peppermint candy canes during Christmas and savoring the smell. The sweet, strong smell of peppermint reminds me of so many different things. To start with, it reminds me of Christmas, and all the great times I've had with my family during the holidays. The smell of pure peppermint brings with it the feel of winter. The smell sometimes gives me the chills because of how strongly cool it is. Peppermint is such a unique scent because of the strong bitterness that it carries. It is both sweet and bitter at the same time, offering the variety of effects it creates on your senses. Peppermint is a very soothing scent that many people like me; use to relax after a long day. Peppermint brings so many happy thoughts of old memories. With this scent it carries some of my favorite memories that I love to be reminded of with the simple smell of peppermint.

My favorite smell would be the smell of rain. Seeing the dark sky and feeling the fresh breeze brings such peace and calmness to my heart. Once in a while that feeling comes because here in the Rio Grand Valley it hardly rains but when it does joy and happiness is what we Texans get. When it rains the dirt has an odor that reminds me of the good times me and my family have had on our visits to Mexico, so every time it rains here I feel like if I’m home.

I have to say that my all time favorite smell is crayons. I am in LOVE with the smell of crayons because it takes me back to my elementary school days, which I have to admit have been the best years of my life. I have so many great firsts in elementary, from my first crush in the 3rd grade to my first "fernery" in the 5th.and everything in between! Plus who doesn’t miss nap time!!!

My favorite scent is fresh clean linen. I love the way it smells. It reminds me of clean clothes that have just been washed. I always buy the candles in the scent fresh linen because it smells amazing. I think it is the best scent ever invented. If I could, I would just put candles everywhere so everything could smell like fresh clean clothes.
