PORT MANSFIELD, TX.-Frances LaVerne Stewart
79, passed away Monday, December 22, 2008 at her home in Port Mansfield, Texas.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 24th, at the Raymondville Memorial Park Cemetery with Len Powell officiating.
Mrs. Stewart, was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church of Lyford. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and quilting.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charlie E. Stewart of Port Mansfield, TX; one son, John (Laurie) Stewart of Arnasas Pass,TX; one daughter, Sybil Naumer of Glorietta, NM; seven grandchildren, Fran Morel, Cody Stewart, Danny Stewart, Billie Allison Lilly, Greg Stewart, Andrea Stewart and Angela Lourenco; three brothers, Don Williams and Kenneth Williams both of McKinney,TX and Billy Williams of Waco,TX; three sisters, Christine Reckley and Delores Joles both of Corsicanna, TX and Carolyn Nash of Longview, TX. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Doug Stewart; two brothers, Bob and Jim Williams; one sister, Sue Williams.
Family will be receiving friends Tuesday, from 4:00 P.M.-6:30 P.M., at Duddlesten Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Stewart, John Stewart, Cody Stewart, Buddy Salmon, Frank Romano, Milton Snell and Greg Stewart.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Duddlesten Funeral Home.
